However, in today's world where markets are rapidly globalizing, English stands out as an important topic / language that students should not deprive. So here are some points that students have to keep in mind while preparing for their class 10 CBSE English exam board in order to score well on the subject. In addition, students can view the link below for the CBSE English Question Papers of the previous year. Paper Pattern: Section A: Includes reading comprehension. Two invisible passages will be provided. The passage can be literary, factual or discursive to try understandings. Also, note-taking is provided in this section. Section B: This is the section where our writing skills are examined. This section includes various forms of writing such as letter writing, letter writing, creating posters, writing articles, etc. Section C: This section is intended to test the student's grammar skills. Section D: This section is based on literature and poems. TIPS: Practice writing each answer. Writing will help you analyze your grammatical mistakes as well as spelling and help you improve on them. Read the chapters aloud. This technique will not only help you memorize the answers and important points, but will also give you a clearer understanding of the language. Try to write about topics that are fashionable in the news. This will help you improve your writing style and learn new terms. Prepare flash cards to remember the names of various authors and characters. Read each poem and chapter at least once and answer all the questions given at the end of the chapter / poem. Solve previous year documents / sample documents to familiarize yourself with the pattern of questions and be able to identify your weak points. Always wait for yourself while answering the sample papers as it will help you manage the time during the exam. Check as many times as you can. Try to finish the chapters that you easily understand, as it will increase your confidence. Read the NCERT books regularly. CBSE Board Exam Question Documents are based entirely on this book. Do not start a new chapter / topic at the last minute. Review the topics / chapters you have already completed.
